Rotary has unveiled the programme for its Bradford Showcase, taking place on Saturday, July 4, at the Great Victoria Hotel.
The event comprises three parts: a ticketed conference, a free community showcase and an evening meal at the Golden Palms.
Organisers say the aim is to highlight Rotary’s work, share speakers’ stories and encourage more people to get involved in the community.
The conference, limited to 200 delegates, will feature speakers from politics, education, sport and community leadership.
The line-up includes adventurer Jasmine Harrison, Labour MP Kim Leadbeater, Professor Fiona Macaulay, Shamza Butt BEM, cricketer Moin Ashraf and boxer Amar Farooq.
Tickets cost £40 and include refreshments and a goodie bag.
The free showcase will bring together Rotary clubs and local partners to spotlight charitable, educational and community projects across Bradford.
The day will conclude with an informal meal at the Golden Palms. Bradford City Hall will also be lit in purple to mark Rotary International’s campaign to eradicate polio.
