National firm appoints new Head of Immigration amid continued growth

A national law firm has bolstered its Immigration department with a key leadership appointment, reinforcing its commitment to delivering top-tier legal services and expanding its presence in a critical practice area.
Cartwright King Solicitors has named Nisha Leel (Pictured above) as its new Head of Immigration.
With nine years of post-qualification experience (PQE), Nisha has been with the firm since 2019 and has played a pivotal role in handling complex, high-volume immigration matters.
She has attained more than 100 five-star reviews, has worked at the firm since 2019 and has a wealth of experience in the industry.

Nisha became a qualified solicitor at Khan McKenzie Solicitors, where she developed significant experience in appeals to the Immigration Tribunal, Upper Tribunal and High Court matters against various immigration decisions. She also liaised directly with the Secretary of State for the Home Department relating to tribunals.
Since starting at Cartwright King, she has dealt with numerous human rights claims, as well as a wealth of Business Immigration matters.
The new hire serves as an additional string to Cartwright King’s bow, as the firm’s family law team recently underwent a recruitment drive after being shortlisted at the Family Law Awards 2024.
