Born in Birmingham, to a family involved in the food sector, he chose a different career path initially and worked in marketing for some of the biggest firms in the UK. However, his love for food never waned, and he eventually took over Gandhi Indian Restaurant, which has since become one of the most sought-after in the area.

Chef Mohammed Kamal created the King’s Coronation Limited Edition Curry after researching some of the King’s favourite ingredients, and it promises to be a culinary masterpiece.

The dish features fresh mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes and cheese cooked in a rich and flavourful sauce that is a perfect blend of spices and herbs. It is garnished with freshly cut onions and herbs, and can be eaten with fragrant rice or naan of one’s choice, making it a feast for the senses. The dish is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it perfect for a special occasion like the Coronation.
