Bollywood star Vidya Balan starts filming her upcoming movie in the UK

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has arrived in the UK to film her upcoming project ‘Neeyat’ directed by Anu Menon. Her most recent film, Jalsa, released on streaming platforms and proved to be a big hit among the audience.

The talented actress, known for playing diverse roles effortlessly, will be starring opposite other accomplished actors including Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Prajakta Koli and Danesh Razvi.

Neeyat, a suspense thriller, is Balan’s second collaboration with Menon as a director after the 2020 film ‘Shakuntala Devi’. The actress shared her excitement to start the filming of the movie on social media and wrote, “Excited to begin shooting one of the most engaging scripts I have read in the recent times, with some of my favourite people – @directormenon & @ivikramix/ All I can say is expect the unexpected.”
