A bold, immersive one woman show is set to visit London

British Asian artist Shivali Bhammer is set to take centre stage in a bold and immersive one- woman show, a special live performance at the Union Theatre, London, on Sunday 18th May at 7 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM).
This electrifying evening will see Shivali weave together spoken word, storytelling and soul-stirring vocals in a deeply personal and thought-provoking performance. Known for her raw lyricism and emotive voice, she will take audiences on an evocative journey exploring themes of love, loss, resilience and self-discovery.
Fusing urban beats, classical piano, and R&B influences with spoken word artistry, this performance is a rare glimpse into Shivali’s innermost thoughts, emotions and experiences. In this intimate solo showcase, she invites audiences to embrace vulnerability, challenge perceptions, and connect with the universal struggles of the human experience.
The performance will feature from her latest album, Queen of Wands, showcasing her evolution as an artist. With a fusion of modern rhythms, classical piano and spoken word, this live experience brings the album’s themes of transformation and self-discovery to the stage in an intimate and visually immersive format.
Helmed by acclaimed theatre director Celine Rosenthal (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), the show will incorporate striking visual elements that enhance the depth of Shivali’s storytelling, creating an evocative and engaging experience for the audience.
Music is helmed by Joey Gorman and the show is produced by Aman Dhillon, Founder of ReelN Ltd.

This marks a new chapter in her artistic journey, pushing boundaries through music and spoken word. The release has garnered significant attention, leading to Shivali’s feature on BBC Radio London, where she was interviewed by top correspondent Asad Ahmad.

Congratulations.” Discussing the creative process and themes of empowerment, vulnerability, and transformation, Shivali used this platform to reflect on how her latest work embodies her personal and artistic growth.
An internationally renowned singer and speaker, Shivali shares her take on the Eastern philosophy of consciousness through her music, inspiring people to feel more connected with themselves. Her global performances have been witnessed by over 1 million individuals across more than 500 live events, including performing at the House of Lords, hosting the New York Indian Film Festival and speaking at Harvard Business School.
Shivali was first signed with Sony Music India at the age of 22, releasing her first sell out album The Bhajan Project. She followed up in 2012 with her second album Urban Temple. Both of those records reached number one on the iTunes World Chart, amassing over 60 million streams and downloads.
At just 23, Shivali was nominated for two Global Indian Music Awards, for best debut and best fusion album.
In recognition of the impact of her first album in February 2023, Shivali released The Bhajan Project 2. It has been positively received by critics around the world, delighted her loyal fan base and enraptured new listeners.

Shivali released Queen of Wands in 2025, a spoken word poetry album written solely by herself which has been described as profound, impactful and beautifully written by the BBC. Queen of Wands is a philosophical self-portrait album exploring themes of social conditioning, the fragility of life, and unconditional love. Shivali is performing Queen of Wands in a one woman show in London at the Union Theatre in May 2025.
As well as inspiring others through her dance, singing and writing, Shivali embraces motivational speaking, and has delivered several keynotes to global gatherings, including the International Women’s Day Conference in New York, the Spiritual Directors Conference in St Louis and the Women’s Ambassadors Forum. She was a guest speaker at the ‘Women of India: Leading in a Time of Crisis’ conference in 2020 and addresses corporate firms such as Brunswick Group.
Since 2021, Shivali has collaborated with the leading meditation app in India called Thinkright.me and has devised and presented a meditation programme called, ‘The Power of Visualisation: A 7- Day Journey.’ Her life story forms a chapter in the book ‘Voices from Gujarat’, a set of empowering stories about 21 British Indian Women. Shivali was the front cover of Yoga Magazine Jan 2024 for her moving article on the power of mantras and devotion.
Shivali is a regular on television and radio including BBC Radio 2, BBC5Live, BBC London and Talk TV, where she provides her opinion on philosophy and British Asian culture. She holds a BA in Economics & Philosophy from the University of Nottingham, a PLDA (Alternate EMBA) from Harvard Business School and a Diploma in classical Indian dance Kathak from the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan. She lives between London and New York City and is an Investment Banker at Raymond James.
