Chand Mera Dil, produced by Dharma Productions, is set to hit theatres worldwide this Friday, May 22, 2026.
The film centres on Ananya Panday and Lakshya as they navigate a college romance that starts with love but soon turns into heartbreak.
Before the film’s release, Sachin-Jigar, the composers and producers of its soundtrack, unveiled the complete Chand Mera Dil album.
They said: “With Chand Mera Dil, we wanted the music to feel like a journey, almost like different chapters of one love story.
“What made this album truly special for us was collaborating with such incredible singers and artists, each of whom brought their own honesty and soul to the songs.”
With lyrics by Amitabh Battacharya, the playlist highlights the range of emotions the film conveys through Panday and Lakshya’s relationship.
The title track ‘Chand Mera Dil’, sung by Faheem Abdullah, expresses innocence, warmth, and comfort in love. ‘Aitbaar’, also performed by Abdullah, examines the vulnerability and pain in relationships. ‘Khasiyat’ by Raghav Chaitanya and Jonita Gandhi highlights the excitement and chaos of modern romance.
The score continues to explore the film’s emotions, depicting the pain when two lovers become strangers again and presenting two emotional perspectives on love that both characters refuse to abandon.
The album also includes a female vocal version of the title track, performed by Shreya Ghoshal, which contributes to the film’s emotional depth.
Vivek Soni, director, said: “What I love most about the Chand Mera Dil album is how emotionally fluid it feels.
“Every song has its own personality and space within the album, but together they feel like chapters of the same story.
“I genuinely feel people will see parts of their own relationships and emotions in these songs.”
