Police appeal for information after mosque incident

Police have released CCTV images of a man they’re looking to speak to in connection with an incident that saw criminal damage at a mosque in Warrington.

The incident took place at 9am on Monday 13 May a window was smashed at the mosque on Arpley Street before a man was seen making off from the scene.

Sgt Graham Robinson said: “We are urging anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images, or the man himself, to come forward so that we can progress with our investigation.

The same goes for anyone with information, or dash cam footage that may help.”

Cheshire Police are encouraging anyone with information to get in touch.
