Khushi Patel from the UK wins Miss India Worldwide 2022
A biomedical student from the United Kingdom has won the longest running Indian pageant contest outside the country – Miss India Worldwide 2022.
Khushi Patel was declared the winner, while Vaidehi Dongre from the US became the first runner up and Shrutika Mane came next as the second runner up. The pageant, which took place on Friday, saw the participation of twelve women who had won various global beauty contests.
Patel, a biomedical sciences student doing a minor in psychology alongside, expressed her excitement on emerging the winner of the coveted pageant. The young model also owns a clothing store in the UK.
With the spotlight and stage that she has been provided through the pageant, she hopes to contribute to charities by attending various charity events and work towards providing aid and assistance to countries where poverty is rampant.
Miss Teen India Worldwide 2022 also took place alongside the aforementioned pageant where Roshani Razack from Guyana was declared the winner, Navya Paingol from the US was the first runner up and Chiquita Malaha from Suriname was the second runner up.
The pageants, organised by India Festival Committee (IFC), took place after three years as they had to put a pause on events due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
