Cheffing with Ash Partners with Shelter to Provide Ramadan Iftar for Those Facing Housing Hardship
Posted On March , 2026
In the spirit of compassion, community and generosity that defines the holy month of Ramadan, Cheffing with Ash has partnered with Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, to host a special Iftar meal for Shelter service users on 12th of March 2026.
Cheffing with Ash is a dynamic UK celebrity chef who has turned his childhood passion for cooking into a thriving career, using his platform not only to create culinary experiences but also to empower young people and give back to the community.
The collaboration will see Cheffing with Ash generously donate his culinary expertise to create a specially curated Iftar menu, bringing warmth, dignity and a sense of community to those currently experiencing housing insecurity. The event aims to provide not just a nourishing meal to break the fast, but also a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals can come together during one of the most important times in the Islamic calendar.
Ramadan is a time centred on reflection, compassion and giving back to those less fortunate. This partnership reflects those values by shining a light on the ongoing housing crisis affecting millions of people across the UK.
Home is a human right. It is the foundation of stability, safety and wellbeing. Yet every day, millions of people are facing the devastating reality of housing insecurity and homelessness.
Shelter exists to defend the right to a safe and secure home for everyone. Through direct support services, campaigning and advocacy, the charity works tirelessly to help individuals and families facing homelessness and housing injustice.
This Ramadan initiative highlights the importance of safe spaces, inclusivity and community care, reminding us that everyone deserves the security and dignity of a place to call home.
By supporting Shelter this Ramadan, you’ll make sure Shelter can be there for those affected by the housing emergency.
Cheffing with Ash said: “Ramadan is about compassion, unity and helping those in need. Partnering with Shelter to provide Iftar for their service users felt like a meaningful way to bring people together and remind everyone that community support can make a real difference.”
Supporters are encouraged to donate generously this Ramadan so that Shelter can continue its essential work helping people secure the safe homes they deserve.
Together, through acts of kindness and collective responsibility, we can help ensure that no one is left without a safe place to call home.
