The Asian Dance Festival which celebrates the vibrant performing arts of Bhangra, Bollywood and Classical, whilst uniting people from all communities, is set to take place on Saturday, 15th October.
Presented by Culture Unite this year’s event will be held at the Regency Banqueting Suite, Birmingham and will commence at 5pm BST, with free onsite parking. Live performances, dinner, dance, exhibition and workshops will be organised to ensure that all the attendees enjoy and learn about the culture at the same time.
Asian Dance Festival is a family event that represents lifestyle, traditions and cultural values, which encompass the very soul of Asians in the UK. People from all communities will be united at the grand celebration, which will showcase the best artistic talent within the nation and beyond.
A variety of talented artists will be rocking the stage with live Bhangra, Bollywood and Classical performances. Popular singers, dancers and musicians will entertain everyone at this entertainment extravaganza.
The list of performers include: Silinder Pardesi, Jaswinder Daghamia, Inderjit London, Balwinder Bhatti, Tariq Khan, Ruby Akhtar, J Deep, Mahhi Kaur, Ravneet Kaur, Joga Singh, Pally Matharu, Bhangra Smash Up, Haripa Dancers, Jodi Dancers, Jas Wouhra, Sonu Chand, Kamal Chopra, Luv Randhawa, DJ Roadshow.
The festival will comprise of an exhibitor area, workshops, food stalls and a drinks bar for everyone to get an experience of a lifetime. There is plenty of free parking space onsite and for those needing accommodation, there is the Collection Hotel conveniently adjoining the venue.
