RT Elite Promotions successfully delivered its inaugural Warriors of the Ring boxing event on Sunday 25 January at the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew, marking a milestone night for grassroots boxing in Scotland. 

The event brought together competitive boxing, live entertainment, and premium hospitality, while raising funds and awareness in support of Diabetes UK. Warriors of the Ring was billed as a first-of-its-kind concept in Scotland, offering a professional platform for everyday people to train, compete, and perform in a safe, well-structured environment.

The night featured a series of standout performances, including first-round knockouts from Leonard Nedd, Richie McCartney, Jack Rylance, Matty, and Zulqy Rehman, alongside a first-round stoppage from Aaron Muir. Willie Dotand Euan McLaughlin secured victories on points, Jason Brannon claimed a hard-fought split-decision win, Lewis Flanigan earned a unanimous decision, Sehrish Ahmed delivered a second-round knockout, and Azeem Sabar and Graeme battled to an entertaining draw.

Guests enjoyed a full evening experience, including a four-course meal and live entertainment, complementing an action-packed fight card that showcased both athletic ability and personal journeys inside the ring.

On the night fundraising activities were donated directly to Diabetes UK, reinforcing RT Elite Promotions’ commitment to using boxing as a force for positive impact.
