Indian Restaurant serves up a taste of home for American tourists for Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, The Punjab, one of London’s oldest and most cherished Punjabi restaurants, is inviting American visitors and residents to experience a taste of home – with a distinctly British Indian twist.
On Thursday, the 28th of November, the restaurant, located in the heart of Covent Garden, will be offering a special menu featuring Turkey Tikka Masala and Pumpkin Curry dishes, designed to help American guests celebrate Thanksgiving with a warm, home-from-home feel.
As one of the UK’s most iconic dining establishments, known for its traditional Punjabi flavours, The Punjab aims to offer a festive meal for American’s tourists who are currently visiting London.

The Punjab restaurant in Covent Garden, located at 80/82 Neal Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9PA is the first and oldest Punjabi and North Indian Restaurant in the United Kingdom.
The Punjab was founded by Sardar Gurbachan Singh Maan in 1946. It supplies exclusively Punjabi food and is widely patronised by Covent Garden residents, business people, students and tourists both national and international. It is an iconic feature of Covent Garden having been based in Neal Street since 1951.
