Muslim Aid is proud to announce the launch of its new Waqf at a prestigious fundraising dinner on November 30th in celebration of its 39th anniversary. The event signifies the start of the charity’s 40th-year celebrations and includes keynote speakers and influential individuals.

The exclusive dinner will bring together industry leaders, high-profile individuals and key donors, to build interest in the Waqf, an endowment fund that will support sustainable development projects and empower communities in need, both in the UK and globally.

The Waqf has been launched to build a sustainable fundraising solution for the charity to future-proof and strengthen the charity giving access to a continuous source of funding for key initiatives, including supporting international projects and emergency aid efforts in Gaza, Sudan and other regions.

It will also help give millions access to education and healthcare and support communities across the UK. This new financial model aligns with Islamic principles of charitable giving, ensuring long-term impact and resilience for millions affected by crises.
