A man is facing an attempted murder charge following a stabbing outside the Stepney Shahjalal Mosque & Cultural Centre on March 8th which has left another man fighting for his life.
Arosh Ali, 24, of White Tower Way, Stepney Green, was charged with attempted murder on Friday Morning and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court.
A 19-year-old male was found with critical injuries and continues to fight for his life a week on. The mosque was forced to close in the wake of the incident and the road was closed temporarily.
